Privacy Policy

Sereo is an early, pre-launch project built by two individuals based in the United States. Sereo isn't live yet — right now this site does one thing: it lets you join a waitlist so we can tell you when it opens. This policy covers only that. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

What we collect

• Your email address — only if you choose to submit it.
• The plan, billing cadence, and price you were viewing when you opened the sign-up box or joined — so we can understand what people are interested in.
• A one-way salted hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, plus a timestamp. We use these only to tell distinct visitors apart and to limit abuse. We do not store your actual IP address.

We do not collect your name, payment details, or anything you don't type in yourself. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, and we set no tracking cookies.

Why we collect it

We ask for your email only with your consent, so we can (a) let you know when Sereo opens and (b) understand demand in aggregate. If you're in the EU or UK, our lawful basis for processing your email is your consent (GDPR / UK-GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

How we use it

Only to email you about Sereo's launch and to measure interest. We will never sell, rent, or share your email, and we won't email you about anything other than Sereo. When we email you at launch, that message will include a one-click unsubscribe.

Spam protection

To keep bots off the sign-up form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check. It processes limited technical signals to tell humans from automated traffic and does not track you across other sites or build an advertising profile.

Who can see it, and where it lives

Just the two of us. Your data is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, on servers in the United States. We don't currently use any third-party email service; when we add one to send the launch announcement, we'll update this policy to name it before we email you.

How long we keep it

Until Sereo launches and we've invited you, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If we decide not to move Sereo forward, we delete the waitlist.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email we send, and you can ask us to show you or delete everything we hold about you — just email [email protected] and we'll take care of it. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict how we process your data, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Sereo isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
